On Thursday morning, a semi-truck jackknifed after a crash on I-580 in Richmond.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at about 11 a.m. on westbound 580, east of Western Drive. According to the officials, the incident led to injuries, but it is unknown how many victims in total were involved in the crash.
The left lanes were shut down in the area as crews worked at the scene. Authorities have not provided any estimated time of reopening of the lanes. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain unknown. No other details are made available.
