The Texas Department of Public Safety is probing an accident that happened overnight along southbound Dallas North Tollway in Frisco.
Just before 12:30am, Frisco Fire/EMS and DPS troopers responded and reached at the scene after 9-1-1 callers reported a motorcycle crash.
Investigators say a motorcyclist was going southbound at a rapid speed when the rider lost balance, drifted away, and crashed off the highway. The impact threw the rider off the motorcycle.
The rider died at the scene. Authorities did not reveal the identity of the victim.
