A devastating crash in Wharton Township, Fayette County, claimed the lives of five individuals, including four residents of Delaware, Ohio, and left one person injured.
The tragedy occurred when Harold Nibert, 55, who tested positive for cocaine, veered across a double-yellow line on Meadow Run Drive, striking a commercial tractor-trailer head-on.
Nibert, along with Krystal May, 36, Amanda Dawson, 33, and Amanda’s son, Kullen Dawson, aged 7 months, all perished at the scene. The fifth victim, Bradley Thivener, 47, was the driver of the tractor-trailer.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation as authorities work to determine the factors contributing to this tragic event.
