Freshman TE Jalin Conyers hospitalized after a two-vehicle accident in Tempe (Tempe, AZ)

A traffic collision in Tempe, involving Arizona State football players hospitalized Freshman TE Jalin Conyers and injured Curtis Hodges.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 12 p.m. The early reports showed that the players were leaving the Kajikawa Practice Fields for the Student-Athletic Facility near what used to be Packard Stadium.

Two freshmen, defensive end Joe Moore and defensive back T Lee, and sophomore DE Stanley Lambert were in the car that hit the vehicle in which senior tight end Curtis Hodges and freshman TE Jalin Conyers were riding.

Conyers was taken to the hospital with a laceration on his head, whereas Hodges incurred a minor superficial wound. Lambert, Lee and Moore were initially believed to be uninjured. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation is ongoing.
