The Texas Department Of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle accident on Thursday. The officials confirmed that one person died in the accident. According to the officials, the deceased victim was identified as Francesca Almaraz.
Around Thursday night the crash happened when a 21-year-old Bryan man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter. Francesca Almaraz, of Bryan, died at the same hospital where she was taken following the crash.
Another passenger in the Toyota, identified as 17-year-old Jasmine Glover, of Houston, was transported to St. Joseph’s with serious injuries.
The events leading to the collision are not yet known. The authorities are still investigating the cause of the fatal crash. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
