Fiery crash hospitalize two people in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

A fiery accident sent two people to the hospital in Phoenix on Monday.

The Phoenix Fire Department said the incident took place near 44th Street and Greenway Road just after 4:30 a.m. One of the cars burst into flames due to the collision.  A 25-year-old man was pulled from the car and rushed to a local hospital in critical condition while the driver of the car was transported to the hospital in stable condition. Phoenix fire said four people in the other car were treated on the spot and were not hospitalized.

The crash is under investigation.
