Female pedestrian killed after getting struck twice in Anaheim (Anaheim, CA)

A female pedestrian lost her life after getting struck by two different hit-and-run motorists in Anaheim Thursday minutes apart.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run accident took place on La Palma Avenue at Maple Street. The early reports showed that a witness who heard the first crash at 2:42 a.m. on La Palma Avenue at Maple Street went to check on the victim, who seemed to be dead.

Few minutes later, another vehicle, described as a tan car, also ran down the victim and continued going. The deceased is a 36-year-old homeless woman. Her identity remains undisclosed at this time. Police were trying to find the video surveillance footage. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
