Female pedestrian hospitalized after a hit-and-run crash in Longview (Longview, TX)

On Thursday, a woman suffered injuries following an auto-pedestrian collision in Longview.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the 1000 block of McCann Road at approximately 11:15 p.m. on reports of a hit-and-run crash. On arrival, responders found a woman in the roadway who was hit by a vehicle that was heading southbound on McCann Rd. The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Eyewitnesses informed the officers that the hit-and-run vehicle was a white Ford F-150 pickup truck with a toolbox in the truck bed. The truck probably has damage to its front and was last seen going southbound on McCann Road. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
