Female pedestrian died after a hit-and-run accident on US 60/I-10 ramp in Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ)

A female pedestrian lost her life after being hit by a vehicle Tuesday on a Phoenix freeway.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run accident occurred during the early-morning hours of March 22 on the ramp from westbound U.S. 60 to eastbound I-10. The victim has only been identified as an adult female.

The driver of the vehicle remains at large. No information is available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time. The freeway ramp was later reopened to traffic. No other details are available.
