On Tuesday morning, a woman lost her life following an auto-pedestrian collision in San Jose.
As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash took place at 4:46 a.m. in the 200 block of South Jackson Avenue. The preliminary investigation showed that a black Sedan hit a woman as she attempted to cross the roadway outside a crosswalk. The driver of the involved vehicle drove away from the scene after the collision.
The victim died of her injuries after the accident. Responders described the hit-and-run vehicle as a northbound 2018-2022 Honda Accord. The incident is being investigated as a felony hit-and-run. No other details are made available.
