The Mesa Police Department repeated a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday. The accident happened close to Guadalupe and Single Butter roads.
According to the officials, the vehicle struck a pole causing the crash. Four people were reportedly trapped inside the car and required rescue, according to officials.
Police confirmed that at least one person was killed in the collision. The names and identities of the victims have not been made public yet.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
While the crash is investigated, Guadalupe Road at Ellsworth Road is closed. The date of the reopening is not known.
