A traffic collision in Houston led to a fatality.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place at about 4:57 a.m. on the Southwest Freeway. According to the officials, one person was killed as a result of the accident. US 59 northbound near Fondren Road/Bellaire Boulevard exit was closed as crews worked at the scene.
