Fatal hit-and-run accident killed 74-year-old John Draper on Crenshaw Boulevard (Los Angeles, CA)

On Friday, a terrible hit-and-run accident claimed life of a 74-year-old John Draper on Crenshaw Boulevard.

The fatal incident happened at 9:39 p.m. at the intersection of Hyde Park Boulevard. Draper was crossing the intersection. Meanwhile, a gray Ford F-150 pickup truck traveling at a rapid speed fatally hit him. On arrival, officers declared Draper deceased at the scene. However, the driver involved in the hit-and-run headed north on Crenshaw Boulevard and escaped from the scene.

Furthermore, the city offers a $50,000 standing reward for evidence or information that lead to the identity, arrest, and conviction of the hit-and-run accused.

The crash remains under investigation.
