A fatal crash claimed life of a person on the eastbound Riverside (91) Freeway in Anaheim and lanes of the freeway were blocked this morning until further notice.
The incident was reported at around 11:50 p.m. Thursday just past the Raymond Avenue exit, as per the California Highway Patrol. At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown. Authorities have not released any additional details regarding the wreck and the identity of the deceased has not been revealed. A SigAlert was issued for all eastbound lanes of the freeway at about 12:15 a.m. and traffic was being rerouted off the freeway at Raymond Avenue.
The crash remains under investigation.
