A man lost his life following a fatal auto-pedestrian crash on 215 Freeway near Center Street on Saturday morning.
As per the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 11:40 a.m. Authorities received information that a barefooted man standing on the right shoulder of the freeway near Center Street. Moments after, the man walked towards the center divider.
Then, at around 11:45 a.m., another report came that a vehicle fatally hit the same man. Later, CHP rerouted the southbound traffic off the freeway at Center Street.
Additionally, an investigation is ongoing.
