On late Sunday night, one person suffered minor injuries after a semi-truck rolled over on I-40.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle wreck was reported at 11:33 p.m. on I-40 East near Charlotte Pike. The early reports showed that the semi flipped on its side and spilled some of the contents it was carrying. At this time, it is unknown what spilled on the roadway. The driver of the big rig incurred only minimal injuries.
Officials reported that traffic on I-40 East near Charlotte Pike was still affected early Monday morning. The incident is not being investigated as criminal. No other details are immediately available.
