Driver crashes car into SE Houston apartment complex (Houston, TX)

No one suffered any injuries after authorities say a driver slammed car into an apartment building in southeast Houston.

As per authorities, the incident took place on Monday evening in the 7900 block of Morley Street near Glencrest just north of Hobby Airport. Investigators said that it seems that the driver lost control and rammed the dark-colored sedan into a ground-floor unit.

There were people inside the apartment at the time of collision, but no one was injured. Families were also sleeping in other apartment units at the complex. The crash caused some damage to the building and authorities are assessing the damage.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
