Officials identified Desmond Deon Craddock as the man who lost his life after being hit by a vehicle on Friday in Denison.
The fatal auto-pedestrian crash took place a little after midnight in the northbound lanes of U.S. 75 at Exit 66 near Spur 503. According to the investigation reports, Craddock stepped into the roadway in the northbound lanes of U.S. 75 and got struck by the vehicle.
The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. Officers did not arrest the driver. No additional information has been provided by the officials.
The incident remains under review.
