Authorities responded after a vehicle slid down into an embankment Saturday afternoon on I-8 in San Diego.
As per the initial information, San Diego Police Department and U.S. Customs and Border Protection responded to the area near Mollison Avenue after getting reports of a traffic accident at about 2:45 p.m. Saturday. It is unknown if the incident caused any injuries.
It is also unknown what prompted immigration officials to investigate. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. Officials have not provided any other details pertaining to the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
