According to the Metro Nashville Police, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Friday in Madison.
Officials reported Cravon Trotter and his passenger were traveling on State Route 45
The officials stated that the crash happened near Archwood Drive in Madison.
Following the crash, Trotter fled the scene but was later taken into custody by the officers. He was driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
Cravon Trotter was previously convicted for driving under the influence 10 times.
Trotter was injured during the crash and was taken to a hospital where he failed the HGN eye test.
Officers reported that his passenger was taken to Skyline Medical Center in critical condition.
The Metro Nashville Police charge Trotter with aggravated vehicular assault and evading arrest along with driving under the influence.
