Coroner named 31-year-old Gregory Lawrence Guzman from Las Vegas who lost his life after a fatal motorcycle crash on early Sunday morning in the east Las Vegas valley.
Furthermore, authorities termed the reason of death as multiple blunt force injuries while ruling the manner as accidental. The incident took place just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of East Tropicana Avenue and South Mountain Vista Street, just west of Nellis Boulevard. A motorcyclist was going west on Tropicana at a rapid speed and approaching a green traffic signal at Mountain Vista Street. Meanwhile, a Chrysler 300, moving east on Tropicana, approached the left turn lane with a flashing yellow turn arrow.
Then, the Chrysler went left at the intersection and collided with the approaching motorcycle in the process. The impact ejected the motorcyclist and he died on the scene. Afterwards, responders rushed the 41-year-old driver and 40-year-old front passenger to the hospital in serious condition. However, the accident did not cause any injuries to the vehicle’s rear passenger and stayed at the crash scene.
