A child received injuries following a traffic collision Thursday in Tucson.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on East Speedway Boulevard. The incident also led to the closure of East Speedway Boulevard. The early reports showed that a child was injured, but is recovering from their injuries.
Speedway from North Alvernon Way to North Country Club Road was shut down for several hours, but has since reopened. Impairment was not believed to be involved in the accident. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear at this time. No other details are available.
