According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office social media handle, a multi-vehicle crash was reported in Katy on Monday afternoon.
The officials stated that a child had been rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the collision.
Investigators reported that two vehicles were involved in the crash that happened on Grand Parkway and Katy Freeway.
The identity of the child was not provided by the officials.
Officials reported that no other injuries occurred.
Police are yet to clarify whether drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
The deputies did not provide any additional information regarding the crash.
