On Friday, a crash involving a car and a pickup truck claimed life of a person at an intersection.
As per the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, an incident occurred just before 5 p.m. near the port. Officials say that a sedan vehicle was heading north on Richard Pratt Drive and a Ford F-250 was going east on Ron Bean Boulevard when they crashed at an intersection.
The driver of the truck, along with his two juvenile passengers, did not receive any injuries. The driver of the sedan was declared dead on the scene. Authorities have not provided any further information about the wreck and the identity of the deceased has not been released.
An investigation is continuing.
