On Tuesday evening, a 25-year-old motorcyclist lost his life in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of South Hualapai Way and West Sahara Avenue.
According to police, officers were called to the crash scene at about 4:54 p.m. involving a 2021 Harley Davidson XLC 1200 motorcycle and 2020 Toyota Corolla. Reports revealed that the motorcyclist was going eastbound at a high rate of speed on Sahara when it crashed into the Toyota driven by a 28-year-old woman from Las Vegas.

Traffic was blocked on West Sahara Avenue near Grand Canyon Drive, while officials shut down eastbound travel at Hualapai and asked the drivers to adopt alternative routes.
