BRPD Officer Injured, 1 Person Hospitalized After A Motor Vehicle Crash In Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge, LA)

The Baton Rouge Police Department reported a pursuit that resulted in a motor vehicle crash

The police attempted to stop a driver in the 4600 block of Shelley Street. The driver refused to stop and fled the scene. 

The driver was later involved in a single-vehicle crash. The BRPD officer sustained minor injuries from the second crash. 

The feeling driver sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the local hospital. 

No further details regarding the crash are currently available. 

The crash is being investigated.
