Both sides of Bill Morris PKWY closed following a multi-vehicle wreck in Memphis (Memphis, TN)

Officers closed both sides of Highway 385 after a wreck in Memphis involving a tractor-trailer.

As per the initial information, the multi-vehicle accident was reported a little after 3 a.m. on the westbound lanes of 385, also known as Bill Morris Parkway just before the Winchester exit. According to the responding officers, no one had been taken to the hospital due to the crash.

It is unknown how many vehicles were involved in the wreck, but crews reported that more than two disabled vehicles were on the scene. As of 5:45 a.m., both the westbound and eastbound lanes were blocked. As of 7 a.m., westbound lanes were reopened, but eastbound lanes were closed. As of now, all lanes are back open. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. No other details are available.

An investigation is underway.
