Authorities identify 29-year-old Lovisa Svallingson who died in a fatal pedestrian crash (San Francisco, CA)

Authorities identified a 29-year-old Lovisa Svallingson who lost her life in a fatal hit-and-run crash in San Francisco on Tuesday evening that also hospitalized a man with critical injuries, authorities said Wednesday.

Lovisa Svallingson died in the pedestrian crash, according to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office. The victim, a pedestrian, was declared deceased at the scene, mentioned Adam Lobsinger, a spokesman for the San Francisco Police Department.

The medical examiner’s office did not provide any information on Svallingson’s city of residence, but as per her social media pages, she lived in Oakland and was a software engineer at Patch, a climate tech company.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
