Authorities identify 21-year-old Jose Angel Munoz who died in Jeep crash on U.S. 59 (Houston, TX)

Authorities named 21-year-old Jose Angel Munoz, a man who lost his life on early Saturday morning in a jeep crash on U.S. 59 outside Porter.

As per initial reports, a northbound 2007 Jeep Laredo swerved off the roadway and hit a light pole one mile south of Porter at about 4:14 a.am. On arrival, authorities declared the Jeep’s driver, Jose Angel Munoz, a resident of Cleveland, deceased. The jeep had caught fire at one point due to the crash, according to reports.

The authorities will continue to investigate the fatal crash.
