On Sunday, officials publicly identified 62-year-old man Greggory Tilden, a homeless man in a wheelchair who was killed after being hit by two vehicles in Fountain Valley.

Greggory Tilden was homeless, as per the Orange County coroner’s office. The fatal pedestrian accident took place 2:35 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Euclid Street and Warner Avenue, Lt. Kham Vang of the Fountain Valley Police Department said. The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, Vang said.

A blue 2021 Chrysler Pacifica was going northbound on Euclid when it hit the wheelchair, which was westbound on Warner across Euclid, police mentioned. The wheelchair was then hit again by a white 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling north on Euclid. Tilden was declared deceased at the scene.
