Authorities identified 53-year-old Victor Jordan as the man who died from his injuries at the hospital after a motorcycle crash in south Phoenix on Monday.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place just after 7 a.m. on Sept. 20, close to 38th Street and Baseline Road. The investigation reports showed that a car was traveling east when it took a left turn and struck a motorcycle that was going west on Baseline Road.

The motorcyclist, identified as 53-year-old Victor Jordan, was rushed to a hospital in extremely critical condition where he later died. The driver of the car remained at the scene after the crash and cooperated with officials. Impairment does not seem to have played a part in the collision. Baseline Road was restricted during the investigation.

An investigation is ongoing.
