Authorities identified 50-year-old Tigist Abay, a resident of Everett, as the woman who lost her life following a crash just south of Everett earlier this month.

According to the investigation, the incident took place at about 6:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 near the 1000 block of 128th Street SW and involved multiple cars and pedestrian. Officials reported that the woman was on her way to work at the time of the collision.
