Authorities identified 47-year-old Julian Echevarria-Luna who died in a crash; driver sought (Nashville, TN)

Authorities released the name of 47-year-old Julian Echevarria-Luna, a resident of Nashville, who lost his life after an auto-pedestrian accident in Nashville while officers are looking for the driver who hit the pedestrian and fled from the scene.

According to the bystanders, Echevarria-Luna had almost made it across Nolensville Pike when he was hit near the curb, close to Paragon Mills Road. According to the reports, the driver of a beige Chevrolet Uplander minivan was going northbound when they struck the man. The driver of the minivan fled from the scene after the collision. Echevarria-Luna succumbed to his injuries at the crash scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
