Authorities identified 29-year-old Austin Carey who died after a crash on 105 Freeway near Norwalk (Norwalk, CA)

On Thursday, officials identified 29-year-old Austin Carey, of San Bernardino County, as the man who lost his life following a two-vehicle collision on the Century (105) Freeway in the Norwalk area.

As per the initial information, the deadly crash was reported at 1:48 p.m. Wednesday on the eastbound 105 Freeway at the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway. According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Austin Carey, 29, a resident of Rialto, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The events that have led up to the accident remain under review. No other details are available.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
