Authorities identified 28-year-old Steven Cantu who died in a motorcycle crash on North Side (San Antonio, TX)

The Bexar County Medical Examiner identified 28-year-old Steven Cantu as the man who lost his life after being hit by a car while he was riding on his motorcycle on the North Side earlier this month.

Steven Cantu, 28, died at University Hospital from blunt force injuries he suffered in the crash, as per the medical examiner. The two-vehicle crash took place at about 3 a.m., July 3, on Isom and Sandu Roads.

Police confirmed that Cantu was on his bike when he was struck by another vehicle. The driver did not stop to provide help to the bike rider and fled the scene. There is no information if the police have located the hit-and-run driver or not.

An investigation regarding the crash is ongoing at this time.
