Due to a multi-vehicle collision, a section of Interstate 24 was closed on Thursday morning in Nashville.
The Metro Police reported that a collision occurred in the eastbound lanes near the Harding Place exit at around 8:30 a.m.
The officials stated that at least one person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by the Metro Police.
The Fatal crash investigation team was also at the scene of the crash.
The identity of the victims involved in the crash was not released by the officials.
No additional information was released by the Metro Police.
