According to the Utah Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle crash in Summit County killed at least one person in Utah on Wednesday.
A semi-truck traveling on I-80, near Wahsatch, for unknown reasons, was struck by another semi-truck. The force of the collision between the two trucks resulted in one person being fatally injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the officials.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
