According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Friday in Whitewater. Officials confirmed that one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred on eastbound 10 near Haugen Lehmann Way. A black Ford Explorer went airborne and rolled over.
At least one person was pronounced dead as a result of the wreck. The cause of the accident is pending determination. The exact number and identities of the victims remain unknown.
The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
