On Monday morning, a motor vehicle crash was reported west of the M-60 interchange in Sandstone Township that injured at least one.
The Michigan Department of Transportation responded to the semi-truck crash on westbound I-94 on Monday around 11:04 a.m.
According to the officials, at least one driver was pinned inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by the crews on the crash scene.
Both westbound lanes were blocked as crews were working on the clearance.
Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
It is unclear what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
