As per the initial information, the incident took place on Interstate 8, close to Taylor Street just before 2:30 a.m. The early reports showed that a black BMW and a silver Honda were involved in the crash.
The reports further revealed that a driver was traveling west in the eastbound lanes when they crashed head-on into another car. At this time, it is unconfirmed which vehicle belonged to the wrong-way driver.
