A motorcycle crash caused traffic disruptions at S. Cedar St. and Elm St. near downtown Lansing on Tuesday afternoon. Officers were administering CPR when a 6 News team passed by the scene. Emergency responders, including an ambulance and fire truck, arrived shortly after.

The motorcyclist was placed on a backboard and gurney for transport. Lansing Police closed off a section of S. Cedar St., one block north of the intersection, using cones and flares to divert traffic.

The severity of the motorcyclist’s injuries was not immediately clear and their identity has not been disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
