The New Mexico State Police reported a motor vehicle crash in Gallup. The accident happened at mile marker 7.
The officials have not disclosed the number of vehicles involved in the accident nor the number of people injured. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known at this time.
They have reported that at least one person has been pronounced dead at the scene. The names and identities of the victims have not been made public yet.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
Due to a fatal accident, all lanes of NM Highway 602 are closed south of Gallup. Additional information regarding the deadly crash is not available currently.
