According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle crash that occurred in Corona killed at least one person on Monday.
At around 12:10 near Westbound Riverside Freeway West of Lincoln Avenue, a crash involving more than one vehicle took place. As a result of this crash, a motorist who was travelling eastbound on the westbound Riverside (91) was killed in a head-on crash.
The identity of the dead is not yet disclosed. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. The cause of the fatal crash is still being investigated. No further information is available at the moment.
