The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle accident in Antelope Center near the Mojave Desert on Thursday. The accident occurred at the intersection of 170th Street East and East Avenue S, at around 1:25 p.m.
According to the officials, a vehicle was involved in a collision. The total number of vehicles involved has not been disclosed at this time. At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the fatal crash. There are no other details available at this time.
