The Leander Police Department reported a fatal collision on Sunday afternoon on RM 2243 near Ridgmar Road. The motor vehicle accident occurred at 12:29 p.m. and has led to the closure of the road in the vicinity for investigation.
The officials have not disclosed the number of vehicles involved in the collision. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time. At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time.
Authorities are actively working on the fatal crash to gather more information and assess the situation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
