A fatal crash involving a motorcycle has led to the closure of all eastbound lanes of W. FM 646 from W. Walker St. to S. SH-3, according to the League City Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection of W. FM 646 and S. SH-3, resulting in the closure of the intersection as well. The events leading up to the crash are not entirely clear at this time.
At least one person was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed at this time.
Authorities are working to investigate the scene and manage traffic in the affected areas. The motor vehicle accident remains under investigation. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
