According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday in Santa Clarita. Officials confirmed that at least one person died due to the motor vehicle accident.
Authorities stated that the collision occurred at Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra (14) Highway. A suspected stolen vehicle crashed in the roadway.
As a result of this, the officials reported that at least one occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead when transported to the hospital. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
Insights pertaining to the involvement of another vehicle remain unclear. The cause of the accident is pending determination. The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP.
