At Least 1 Person Killed In A Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash In Buttonwillow (Buttonwillow, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal crash was reported on Sunday evening in Buttonwillow. Officials confirmed that at least 1 person died due to the motor vehicle accident. Authorities stated that the collision occurred on 7th Standard Road.

A yellow Nissan collided with the power line. This resulted in the car catching on fire. The victim inside the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. The identity of the victim is not yet known at this time. 

Insights into other information pertaining to the accident remain unknown. The cause of the collision is yet to be determined.

The crash continues to be investigated by the CHP. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision. There are no other details available at this time.
