On Thursday evening, at least one person suffered injuries following a head-on crash on Interstate 5 in Ferndale.
As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place at about 6:45 pm. The preliminary investigation indicated that a car was traveling southbound near Ferndale when it crossed the median and crashed head-on into another vehicle in the northbound lanes.
At this time, it is unknown how many vehicles in total were involved in the wreck and how many people suffered injuries as a result of the crash. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
