The Solano County Sheriff’s Office reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.
The collision occurred close to Tremont and Robben roads in Solano County, at a railroad crossing just east of Interstate 80 and northeast of Dixon city limits at around 9:20 a.m.
At least one fatality is reported by the officials. The identity of the deceased victim is not yet known at this time.
No passengers or crew members were hurt. The passenger cars and engine cars were situated on opposite sides of a crossing at Tremont and Robben. They both seemed to stay on the tracks.
The fatal crash is being investigated. It is not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. There are no other details available at this time.
